Hunting organization
Dear Hunters, In 2009 the Fried Castle Hotel has expanded its services with hunting organization as well. As the Castle is located at the foot of the Transdanubian Hills there are excellent hunting opportunities in the area: there are several large forests, forestries in 60 km radius of our Hotel, creating an excellent opportunity for the hunting of both big and small game.
Hunting lovers can feel at home at the Fried Castle Hotel, since the person who built it, Imre Fried, was also a passionate hunter, something for which the forests around Simontornya proved to be ideal. You only have to go to the neighbouring Gyula and Gemenc forests, where a rich stock of wild game – from small wildfowls to large beasts – await you. The Örspuszta lakes are an ideal place forfishing enthusiasts.As our Hotel is a great admirer of hunting, we built up the 4-star Hunters' Lodge on the hillside, which with its 5 rooms is ideal for individual hunters and smaller hunting groups as well. In addition, hunters have the opportunity to bring their dogs here with themselves. Our Trophy Room with hand-carved furniture in the building provides an excellent venue for spending a nice evening with a bottle of wine, eat a delicious dinner made of wild games or celebrating birthdays and family holidays. Ask your loved one to join you, to whom our Wellness-Fitness Centre offers a wide variety of services and treatments while you are enjoying hunting!
