The Data Controller must suspend data processing and examine the objection within the shortest possible time, but no later than 15 days, and inform the applicant in writing of the outcome..

3. Remedies Available to Users

If a user’s rights are violated, they may take legal action against the Data Controller or initiate an investigation with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).

If the user disagrees with the Data Controller’s decision regarding their objection, they may, within 30 days of receiving the decision, file a lawsuit or request an investigation by the Authority.

The Data Controller is obliged to compensate for any damage caused to another party as a result of unlawful data processing or breach of technical data protection requirements.
