Castle Wine Tasting – An Experience on the Wine Terrace
Start your day with a unique wine experience on the Panoramic Wine Terrace of the Fried Estate!
During the tasting of wines produced from locally grown grapes in the castle’s own winery, guests gain insight into local winemaking traditions and the history of the Simontornya vineyards.
Unlimited tasting of the presented wines is offered, accompanied by savoury pastries, a selection of cheeses and mineral water. Our sommelier will introduce the character and story of each wine.
The program includes:

- Wine snacks, cheese selection, mineral water
- Introduction to local wine culture and history

Gastronomic Program – Oven Baking & Kettle Cooking
Join a cheerful outdoor cooking or kettle party on the panoramic wine terrace of the Fried Estate!
The program begins in the wine cellar with a tasting, followed by a terrace event featuring wine presentations, freshly prepared dishes and homemade desserts.
Main dishes to choose from:
- Pork knuckle baked in the oven with potatoes
- Duck leg with red cabbage and potatoes
- Beef stew with red wine and buttered dumplings
- Pork cellar stew with mashed potatoes and onions
- Goulash cooked in a kettle
The program includes:
- Pastries and cheese selection for the wine tasting
- Homemade pickles with the chosen main course
- Homemade dessert (pie or strudel)
- Unlimited castle wine, soft drinks and mineral water

Traditional Pig Slaughter Feast – Rustic Experience at the Fried Estate
Experience the unforgettable atmosphere of a traditional Hungarian pig slaughter! The day begins with a butcher’s breakfast cooked in a kettle, followed by sausage making, crackling preparation and cooking traditional cabbage dishes.
Throughout the program, castle wines and pálinka are served, and at the end of the day each participant receives a traditional gift package.

- Joint cooking and tasting
- Castle wine and pálinka tasting
- Pig slaughter gift package
